CG-1 is the first of three 4 exaFLOPs AI supercomputers (CG-1, CG-2, and CG-3) to be built and located in the U.S. by Cerebras and G42 in partnership. These three AI supercomputers will be interconnected in a 12 exaFLOPs, 162 million core distributed AI supercomputer built from 192 Cerebras CS-2s and fed by more than 218,000 high performance AMD EPYC CPU cores. This will be the largest supercomputer for AI training in existence.
とあり、

が米国内に設置され、3つのCGは１つのシステムになるということです。
In 2024, G42 and Cerebras plan to launch six additional Condor Galaxy supercomputers across the world, which will increase the total compute power to 36 FP16 ExaFLOPs delivered by 576 CS-2 systems.
下記の The Nextplatform の記事によると、

のように、来年(2024年)に、6つの Condor Galaxy を設置する計画のようです。

このCondor Galaxy Systemは、G42という会社が設置しているようです。
Condor Galaxy のお値段はどのくらいなのか？
2022年11月14日のロイターの記事「Silicon Valley chip startup Cerebras unveils AI supercomputer」には、
Andromeda is built by linking up 16 Cerebras CS-2 systems, the company’s latest AI computer built around the over-sized chip called the Wafer-Scale Engine 2.
“They’re a bigger machine. We’re not beating them. They cost $600 million to build. This is less than $35 million,” said Andrew Feldman, founder and CEO of Cerebras when asked about the Frontier supercomputer.
とありました。
16 x CS-2 のコストが $35Mと考えると、単純計算で $35M x 4 = $140M となります。
3つの Condor Galaxy では、$140M x 3 = $420M、2024年の6セットを合わせると、$140 x 9 = $1260Mになり、1760億円(140円/1ドル換算)
7月10日のブログに書いた「LLMで勝負するには、1000億円必要か？」以上の投資になっています。
おわりに
ChatGPTからブームになった生成AI。それを実現するために大規模なAI Supercomputerの投資。。。
でも、生成AIはあくまでも道具。。。ほとんどの事業会社ではこの道具をうまく使って自社のビジネスで売上・利益を継続的に上げていく感じ。。。なので、まだまだ、スタートもしていないんですよね。。。
